Service Hours- 7:00 am
to 10:00 pm, 7-days a week, 365 days per year.
Office Hours - 9:00 am
to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.
Calls
will be returned during office hours of the same day, the next
business day, or as soon as possible. Calls will NOT be returned on
weekends; however, voicemail will be monitored during the weekend so
emergencies or visit cancellations/additions can be handled
accordingly.
We
do our very best to accommodate ALL requests for service
based upon pet sitter availability. However, to
guarantee
availability during the summer months and during holidays, we
request a
minimum
of TWO week’s notice.
For non-holiday and off-season visits, ONE week’s notice is
recommended. Our policy is based on a first-come,
first-served
basis. A last minute request fee
of $10 will be applied for any service
requested with less than 48-hours notice.
All requests must
be CONFIRMED by For Pets' Sake. Do
NOT assume that dates of service are guaranteed until
confirmation is returned by the OFFICE either via phone call or
email. Please do not call the pet sitter unless directed to do so.
The pet sitter is not authorized to confirm a visit.
For clients
requesting visits while out of town, 48-hours notice
is required when canceling. For
mid-day clients, cancellation must be reported by 8:00 am on the day
of service. A cancellation fee
will be applied if the service is
cancelled without proper notice. We
apologize if this seems harsh. Our years of experience have taught
us that while many are accommodating in following our policies -
enough take advantage to make us enforce this cancellation fee for
everyone.

Payment for service is due,
IN FULL, upon the
first visit. For Pets' Sake accepts cash and/or checks. Make
checks payable to "For Pets' Sake" and please write the dates of
corresponding service on the “memo” line. Please leave payment
and any special instructions for the sitter in a prominent location
inside your home before you depart. In
RARE instances, we reserve the right to require payment in
advance of any services. Again, we must apologize if
this seems unreasonable, but while most can be depended upon to
leave payment, there are those that continually, either habitually,
inadvertently, or deliberately abuse our payment policy. Should we
notice this pattern beginning, we will require payment be received
at the For Pets' Sake office, in-full, before commencement of
the first visit.
Referrals are
GREATLY appreciated. When
you refer a new client to For Pets’ Sake, you will receive a $15
discount off your next scheduled visit. Please see our

page for coupons.
For Pets'
Sake policy is to have two sets of keys
provided by each client. One set
is for the pet-sitter, the other set is kept at the office as a
precaution, for emergency situations. All keys and security system
passcodes are kept in the strictest of confidence. If you feel you
will use For Pets' Sake on a regular basis, we recommend allowing
For Pets' Sake to retain both sets of keys. If you prefer to have
your keys returned, there will be a $10 drop off fee after your
return. Prior to the next date of service, a $10 pick up fee
will apply in order to reacquire the keys in
For Pets' Sake possession. Alternatively, you may personally
pick up/drop off keys at our office. Either way, please contact us
in advance to
make arrangements for any key exchanges
Tips, while not required nor expected,
are VERY much appreciated. All tips are paid 100%
directly to the pet sitter! On the behalf of all the sitters at
For Pets' Sake, we ask that you kindly keep this, and the current
state of our economy, in mind. Thank you!
